The Willing FieldsThe Willing Fields

From Paracetamol To Paracelsus

Ginger Nettle and Silviya brought their love and excellent professional skills into the gifts offered at Soul Of The Junction SCIO yesterday. On Sunday evening, I chose the route that Vrnda and I would take to get to the venue: Kirkmuirhill-Lesmahagow-Uddington-Pettinain-Carstairs Junction. We arrived at St. Charles Avenue in less than thirty minutes. The drive along the Nethan, Douglas, and Clyde Valleys was truly enjoyable. However, the parking lot at Carstairs Community Hall was empty. Vrnda tried the main door, but it was locked. The following ten minutes were filled with stress as my wife and I struggled to find the address “Hut At The Back Of Station Apartments, 6, Strawbank Road, Carstairs Junction” using Google Maps. However, Ginger and Silviya handled our delayed arrival by 55 minutes with great grace. I lack the writing skills and literary talent to properly describe the wonderful experience we were treated to. Alan’s Alchemical Herbalism workshops can be viewed and booked at his Facebook and Instagram pages @GingerNettle

I was so delighted by their company that I asked them both to accept a QR code sticker from my blog page. And now, after a painful fourteen months, I am writing a new blog again. During that time, I was terrified of losing all hope and ending my life without fulfilling the mission of The Willing Fields. Now, however, am languishing in the realisation that Bhumi Devi, Asclepius and Tulsi Devi have intrusted the work to the next generation of lightworkers. I only hope they will tolerate the madness from this old nerdy shaman.

In the evening Sharanga Thakur, Deva Damodara, Javatvasi and Vrnda attended a screening of The Peoples Emergency Briefing at Care For Creation St. NInian’s Church, Hamilton.  The brainstorming breakout groups were well facilitated. Elaine McQuade was a great inspiration. The remaining 4,700 QR Code  stickers, shakcles of shame which had  hung heavily  around my forlorn neck for fourteen months now feel like a necklace of unlimited curiosity and possibility.  Now, thanks to Ginger Nettle, Heart of The Junction and Elaine McQuade I’m shimmering with the anticipation of distributing all those stickers by Gaura Purnima. That means writing at least one blog and one event/book review daily. If you enjoy the content please share the link www.thewillingfields.com.
